“The Soul Of A Great Traveler”

10 years of Solas Award Winners for Best Travel Story of the the Year.

Extraordinary stories about travel and the human spirit have been the cornerstone of Travelers’ Tales since 1993. In 2006, Solas  launched the Solas Awards to honor writers whose work truly inspires others to explore; here you’ll find 30 Grand Prize-winning stories from those first 10 years: enlightening, scary, adventurous, and funny.  From Solas: “We think that after reading them you’ll see the world in new ways.”
